ME (Myalgic Encepholopathy), CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), Fibromyalgia and Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) Support
I integrate aspects of psychology, body and energy work to assist healing. Having recovered from 5 years of ME/CFS, I now specialise in assisting others in both one to one and group work. I work with with Hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT and Life Coaching, and offer international Skype and telephone support, and face to face support in Sheffield. I also offer bodywork for clients in Sheffield. I trained with The Optimum Health Clinic, who specialise in the treatment of ME/ Chronic Fatigue. Over the last five years ME/CFS/FM has developed as my main area of work. I have been a coach with Ashok Gupta for two years now and can assist you through Gupta Amygdala Retraining and provide additional support, go to the links page to find his website.
I develop a unique approach for the individual client incorporating the methods most needed for that person to facilitate change, clear old emotional patterns and to assist the healing of their body. The approach often involves working with all aspects of a person: body, mind, emotions and spirit, to encourage functioning as an integrated whole. With the power of calming the mind down, learning to listen to the body, clearing old emotions and releasing tension in the body, amazing shifts can occur in energy, wellbeing and health.
The ME Recovery Clinic’s website gives more details of this service.
There is a recovery support group in Sheffield starting 4th October.
I’m very inspired to have co-developed a support group with a friend for people with chronic pain and illness, called Live Well, it is aimed at both management and acceptance with ‘what is now’ and also includes tools that may help you completely recover from symptoms over time. The first proposed meeting is the 4th October 10.30am-1pm, and fortnightly thereafter, to be held at Wellforce in Sheffield. In a small group setting we explore tools for healing these conditions. As a group we focus on Gupta Amygdala Retraining Recovery Programme and support for using this in your recovery. The group includes meditation, mindfulness, NLP and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

What previous participants said:
“Given me a greater understanding of myself, my body, mind, emotions and how it all fits with CFS. It has also opened up a new support network and kept me focused on recovery at a very difficult time in my life. I have honestly taken something positive away from every session. I’ve also really enjoyed the contact with other people, especially people who understand. Just realising I’m not the only one has made a huge difference to me. I’ve also noticed a boost in my confidence, week 1 I was a quivering wreck but I now feel confident enough to talk.” AW, Sheffield
“The coaching was excellent……supportive, empathic and both knew the topics in depth and had very good working knowledge of them. Between calls any emails I send to either coach were answered very quickly.” CM, Glasgow
“Generally I now feel equipped to deal with whatever comes up – and you can’t hope for better than that!” GH, Lancaster
We will cover topics such as The Accelerator, Personality types, Pacing, Meditation, Present Moment etc. and there will be lots of opportunity to be personally coached and ask questions.
Limited to 15 places with an early bird offer of £119 if paid before 15 September (payable in installments if needed) (£135 after 15 September) and a phone call per session charged directly to your phone bill. (Skype for free, and local USA and UK telephone numbers.)
